Farming rice on his own made easy with the Pressure Cure® system
Dexter Trahan farms rice in Kaplan, Louisiana. He purchased three 42’ diameter, six ring Pressure Cure® bins with an 8” Grain loop system in November of 2006. He likes the convenience that the system provides for him. He can cut his rice earlier and finish the drying process in the bin. The quality of the rice has been much better with his milling grade now at 101#/113#. He used to lose money hauling to the local mill. His shrink was 12%, but now it averages only 7%. Dexter has been very impressed with the service that he has received. Sales representative Kerry Johnson was available for consultation to guide Dexter through the Pressure Cure® drying process. Dexter farms alone, and the 8” loop system has made it much easier for him to do that. It is a turnkey system that will load a semi in only 20 minutes. The only time that he needs any extra help is when he is finishing emptying the bins.
