How Does Pressure Curing Work?

CMC can meet your needs for new grain storage bins, or simply adapt the Pressure Cure® system to fit existing grain storage facilities. The system will cure your high moisture crop to the desired storage moisture content without any supplemental heat.

This is made possible by creating a uniform curing zone, or moisture migration front, which is pushed under high pressure up through the curing platform, through the bottom of the grain mass and out through the top of the ventilation system.

Eliminate the High Cost of Drying

With record drying cost associated with the cost of LP gas, the CMC Pressure Cure® System has never made more sense. You will save 30-50 cents per bushel on the cost of fuel by switching to our system. You won’t have to wait on your dryer or designate someone to watch your dryer 24 hours a day. Since our system has no moving parts inside the bin you will never have a breakdown or need to replace stirrators again.

Begin Harvest 7-10 Days Earlier At Moistures That Maximize Quality & Value

Why gamble against late season high winds, rain storms, hail, early snow or even hurricanes? Field drying maybe the most expensive drying there is as it reduces test weight, grain quality and increases physical loss. Start your harvest after physiological maturity—you don’t need to wait for your crop to dry before harvesting it. When the crop is ripe, get it off, and capture the quality by getting it in your Pressure Cure® Dry bins, and put the system to work.

Pressure Cure® Maintains Crop Quality

We designed the Pressure Cure® Dry System through years of hands-on experience. That’s why we know you can harvest your crops at peak quality. A Pressure Cure® Dry System maintains that quality as it economically carries excess moisture from your grain, sunflower or beans.

The Proof Is In The Kernel

Pressure Cure® drying does not use any heat, because heat reduces test weight and quality. Pressure Cure® drying is not simply an aeration system. Pressure Cure® drying is not a “layer-drying” or “stirrator” system with costly annual maintenance costs.

CMC’s Pressure Cure® dry process is truly revolutionary and meets your needs to be a more cost effective producer positioned to benefi t from the premiums that quality grain delivers.
